Inventor Shortcut (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is an educational platform for independent inventors operated by Richard Brogan. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. We take your privacy seriously and will never sell your personal information.

a. Information You Provide

  • Name and email address — collected when you register for our free Saturday session or purchase a course. We use this to send your Google Meet session link, your free Quick-Start Kit PDF, and course access details.
  • Payment information — collected by Stripe when you purchase a course. We do not store your credit card number. Stripe processes all transactions. See Stripe’s Privacy Policy.

b. Information Collected Automatically

  • Analytics data — we use Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking to understand how visitors find and use our site (page views, traffic sources, conversions). This data is aggregated and does not personally identify you unless you have a Google account and are signed in.
  • Cookies — we use cookies for analytics and session management. You may disable cookies in your browser settings; doing so will not prevent you from using the site but may affect analytics accuracy.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Send you the Google Meet link and free Quick-Start Kit PDF after you register for the Saturday session
  • Deliver course access and course updates after purchase
  • Send educational content and updates related to Inventor Shortcut (you may unsubscribe at any time)
  • Process payments securely through Stripe
  • Measure and improve the performance of our website and advertising

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

When you register for our free session or purchase a course, you will receive transactional emails related to your registration or purchase. You may also receive occasional educational updates from Inventor Shortcut.

You can unsubscribe from non-transactional emails at any time by clicking “Unsubscribe” in any email we send.


5. Data Retention

We retain your name and email address for as long as you remain a subscriber or student. If you request deletion, we will remove your personal data from our records within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial record-keeping purposes.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction — request that we correct inaccurate data
  • Deletion — request that we delete your personal data
